What the hell are categories?!
One thing that sets Vouchify apart from other feedback and review bots is our unique support for categories! Categories allow you to break down reviews into specific topics or areas, making the review process more organized and tailored to your community's needs.
With categories, your members aren't limited to just general reviews—they can provide feedback on multiple aspects within your server. For example, instead of having a single place for all types of reviews, you can create categories for things like caterers, events, services, moderation, collaborations, or even contests and giveaways. Members can leave reviews on specific caterers for server-hosted events, provide feedback on services offered in the marketplace, rate the moderation team, share their thoughts on collaborations with other communities, or whatever you want to add.
Vouchify is generally a user-based category system and we understand how some topics don't require a user to be reviewed (like reviewing a hotel or a gym) and this can get very frustrating for our users. So we made two main category types:
- Server-wide reviews:
- Reviews received from the specific server where the bot is being used.
- Global reviews:
- Reviews received from all Discord servers where they have been reviewed, combined.
By using categories, reviews in your server will be much more informative and actionable. It helps members get specific about what they're reviewing, while also making it easier for server admins to track feedback and improve different aspects of the community.
- Category names must not exceed 38 characters.
- A maximum of 5 non-user categories is allowed.
- A maximum of 5 user-based categories is allowed.
This is how your category will show up when people use the /review command. (Replaces category-name with your category's name)
